With a range of choices, we work with two main bedroom suppliers and complement this with bespoke children’s bedrooms that we make ourselves at Parks Interiors in Cornwall.
Children’s bedrooms need to be sturdy and well made, as well as pleasing to the eye and the wallet. We have made several children’s bedrooms in our Cornwall workshops as well as furniture. A great deal of children’s furniture on the market is expensive and poorly made so we make our own which includes cabin beds, standard beds, wardrobes, drawers, desk areas and toy storage. These have all proved to be extremely cost-effective and are still being used years later with the quality of the build standing the test of time.
With your bedroom in mind, things to consider include:
- Do you need hanging space for long items such as dresses or would you prefer split hanging for your clothes better suited to jackets and trousers?
- Would you like a spacious bed area and bedside tables or do you want wardrobes fitted around the bed with a bridge across the top?
- Drawers can be hidden or on display.
- You could use your iPod as an alarm clock next to your bed on a docking station.
- Do you want a TV on a bracket or hidden in a wardrobe with a sliding door?
